Now if you have come here looking for an answer to a specific question or problem you are having with the site, you’ve come to the wrong place. For that you probably want to go to the forum where there are loads of fans of the game who will be more than willing to help. This FAQ’s page is more an example of what NOT to do when you have a problem. We rarely (if ever) respond to our users questions as we are far too busy doing stuff like running a GLOBAL PHENOMENON of an online games business! But do please keep sending us your emails. And if they are bad enough we PROMISE to add them to this page! We love a good laugh here in Stick Sports HQ! Got a question for the team? Drop us a line! You never know we may even respond! But to be honest it is VERY unlikely! Please include as much information as possible about your computer and the problem so that we can blame it on something else if we don't know how to fix it. And you might want to re-read it before you send it, just to make sure it isn’t going to end up on our FAQ page! Here's a sample of the best we've received! Message: Hi there, There are some bugs in the game, Have you guys found it already or would like to know. Answer: No. Keep it to yourself. We have no interest in knowing what's wrong with the game. You know… the games only take a few years to develop, another year to test and then six months to launch. We're not interested in problems. In fact we're not interested in anything to do with Stick Sports. Our dedication to the site is purely for show and as a result we have tons of time to write to people like you who ask stupid questions. OF COURSE WE WANT TO KNOW! Or are you trying to blackmail us… because believe me, it won't work! Message: Answer: Thanks for that. As the problem is so serious that you couldn't even send me details of how/when it occurred, what you were doing at the time etc etc, can you please send me your address and I'll drive round to your place to have a look for myself. Message: why is ur shot game not working when on try ot go on it Answer: Erm - sorry??? Message: Please help, I have tried numerous times to register as a new user but get the error message: Unable to send data to the server, check Internet connection. Please advise. Brian Answer: Check your Internet connection. Message: this game is failing to play shots against the spinner and is not letting me play shots. I demand you to fix this game up Answer: Ah, this is a common problem and is caused by a fault somewhere between the keyboard and the chair. We know this fault as an id10T error. Please replace the user with one that can read instructions. Message: The game is great, love and played it so much that Im now wearing eye glasses. Doctors recomend me stop paying but what the hell, Im a gamer for life. Answer: Ermmm... we don't really want to advocate excessive game playing... especially if it leads to permanent injury. Oh damn it.... Yes we do! Send us a picture so we can show the world how much our people love us! Message: you've sold out to advertising, I am on an ADSL line and the game is still slow Answer: We know. We're not happy about being corporate whores either but after years of toiling to bring you an involving and entertaining game that you can play for free and a future of answering whingers emails, we felt we deserved to get a little back. Obviously we were wrong. |
